Hello, and welcome to my website! Abaddon Arts, LLC. is a sole proprietorship, My background is in fine arts and digital design. I hold a BFA in Illustration from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I work primarily digitally in the Adobe Creative Cloud using a 21.5" iMac and a Wacom Cintiq with equal live space. I have experience, and will at times experiment with 3D art such as sculpting, and I have a traditional education in painting and drawing.

My presence is stronger in social media, as I have had some challenges getting to where I am now. I am slowly compiling this website as I create content to fill my portfolio and create a gallery for this site. As I progress along with projects and compile more content, the site will grow. I thank you for joining me on this journey and I am excited to grow this even further. As I said, I work in Creative Cloud and so I am learning Muse to build this site. I am finding it functions very similarly to InDesign, which is a program I have an advanced level of experience in, so adapting is coming very easily.

Obviously, this website is a work in progress and there are going to be a lot of changes ongoing. I am going to make an effort to optimize it for all screens.

I have purchased master courses for Creative Cloud Certification and am working toward Adobe Master Certification.

Pandora Returns

Tarot Deck

I'm working on a long term project designing a tarot deck with unique artwork. It will be formatted after the Rider Waite deck, at a total count of 78 cards comprised of 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. I am painting illustrations in Photoshop for each, and will be designing the frames, type, box, etc with assistance from Illustrator and InDesign. I plan to sell prints of the individual paintings, including an option for canvas prints, as each painting is finished. Being that this will be a long term project I have a few other things planned to keep content coming while working on the tarot. There are images in the gallery, but here is a sample of the first painting (still in progress) for what will be The Devil card. It is a representation of Baphomet, aka the Goat of Mendes. This is painted in Photoshop primarily with Mixer Brush.

I'm reviving my comic strip Pandora's Soapbox. It's a social commentary series through the eyes of a cynical clown. I realize there will be a larger audience that is unaware of this series than an audience that remembers it, so I will be providing a sort of synopsis episode to bring new readers up to speed, and refresh the memories of the original viewers. The host site of the original series went under when the host owner passed away years ago, and that was my harsh lesson on data archiving.

Adobe announced ComicBlast at this year's MAX Conference, so I am excited to see that when it is released, and I may try to do a more extensive scripted project when that is available, as it streamline's the storyboarding process into something that takes seconds to do. Learn about it here.

Educational Vlog

I am putting together material for a vlog show that focuses on art history, there is no ETA yet as to when it will be coming out, due to the amount of work I am currently undertaking. I also need to take some time to familiarize myself with Premiere Pro and After Effects.

It will most likely be hosted on YouTube with a video embed here on the website.

Patreon

I want to build a community of creative minds. I plan to put together a rewards system to utilize Patreon services. I already have an account for Abaddon Arts, I just haven't put anything into yet.

I plan to design some swag for purchase, Shirts, apparel, buttons, stickers, etc. More to come in the future when I have mock-ups/comps to work with.
